Pius Anyim Attends PDP Presidential Screening Committee.

I had the honor of being in the midst of the PDP Presidential Committee for my screening procedure at Legacy House in Abuja today, April 29th, 2022, at about 11:30 a.m. WAT. For privacy considerations, the exercise was conducted behind closed doors by a team headed by an honorable and respectable colleague of mine, former Senate President David Mark.
The procedure went down without a hitch and only took around 15 minutes. The committee was primarily interested in verifying my membership status, academic credentials and qualifications, financial position in the party, and other prerequisites for a presidential candidate as outlined in our party’s constitution, all of which I believe I met.
After my screening exercise, I spoke to the press and highlighted several key points. Our fantastic party candidate selection procedure, for all and not just for starters, instills sufficient confidence and faith. The screening ensures that the aspirants’ credentials are correct.
